At our second ultrasound (13 weeks) the doctor gave us an "experienced guess" as to the gender of our two littles. Then, at the next one (18 weeks) only one cooperated and the doctor (different this time) confirmed Baby 1, but left Baby 2 as "gender unknown".
Finally at our most recent ultrasound the doctor (same as the second ultrasound) confirmed what he had suspected the first time around....
We will have three girls and a boy. Poor Lucas. He is the oldest and will definitely be the protector of his little sisters, maybe a job he won't always appreciate. Of course, my dad immediately said, "well, now you'll have to have another one in a few years to (hopefully) even things out a little" and hubby added, "well, if we had twin boys...."
Um, I think I'm done, folks!
So now, onto the naming and buying of matching outfits in pink....
Yay, I guessed they would both be girls! Congratulations :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I was 36 I found out I was pregnant with identical twin boys. We already had 2 boys and 1 girl. Our daughter was 8 at the time and when we told her she would be having 2 more brothers she said, "Can't God make at least one of them a girl?" Our twins are now 21. Enjoy...you are blessed!

Nanahood is the second half of the motherhood journey!
Great Photo! We also have a "passel" of girls. Even, all but one of our pets is female. Poor Hubby LOL. Actually, he doesn't mind at all since they are all "daddy's girls"
ReplyDeleteHappy WW :)
